Zahid Inn Hotel

Breakfast was superb, and the fresh towels were a nice touch. The rooms lean traditional and have a really nice ambience. It can get a bit loud when people are outside in the courtyard, especially if your room is right beside it.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities in place and working. Breakfast was tasty, and thanks to Irina for making vegetarian porridge on the first day and remembering it again on day two. I also had some really tasty skewers late at night. Everything went smoothly, and it was a great introduction to Uzbekistan for a first-time visitor. I booked two nights at Zahid Inn and requested an airport pickup. Donijon, whose name I hope I spelled right, was on time, and the drive was uneventful. His English isn't great, but it’s better than my Uzbek and Russian, and we had no trouble communicating. Thanks to the whole team.

I enjoyed Zahid enough to extend my stay. The staff are attentive and, even with limited English, did their best to handle all my requests. They helped arrange horse riding lessons and find information about hiking trips, among other things. If you speak Russian, I bet you’ll have some good conversations with them. The room was comfy and breakfast was delicious. There’s also a playful cat at the inn that sometimes follows you around. One small improvement would be better toiletries.

A very cozy hotel, and the receptionists were helpful. We especially enjoyed the shashliks in the evening. Thank you, we’ll definitely stay here on our next visit.
