Holiday Inn Express & Suites St. Vincent - Grenadines by IHG

We stayed one night before our flight from Argle International Airport, and the staff made the experience feel special. Kay-Ann at Reception and the young man who brought our bags were welcoming and professional, as was everyone else. Since we had to leave at 5am, Kay-Ann arranged for the kitchen to make us breakfast before opening time. It was lovely. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and had a very comfortable bed, fresh linen, easy WiFi, a gym, and a pool. Booking online was straightforward and we paid then, though there was an extra $9 EC tax at check-in. The hotel was the SVG Diamond Holiday Inn Express, and I'd recommend it for either a short or long stay. Thanks to Kay-Ann and all the fabulous staff 😀

The bathroom lighting was a real problem for me. A motion sensor switches on every light at once, they're painfully bright at night, and there's no way to turn them off. They only shut down after 15 minutes. Whoever designed that setup clearly doesn't use the bathroom at night! That said, this is easily the best business hotel in St. Vincent. I've been visiting for work three times a year for 30 years, and after my first stay here I wouldn't go back to another hotel. The property and rooms are clean and well maintained, helped by being new, and the staff are friendly and ready to help. It's a breath of fresh air for the local hotel industry. You'll need a car. The airport is 10-15 minutes away, as are the restaurants and bars where locals hang out. Kingstown is 20-30 minutes away. There's a restaurant beside the hotel, but I didn't try it because it always looked empty. I'd still stay here again.

Breakfast was a lovely surprise, with local food like jonny cakes and saltfish, plantains, provisions, lentil and chickpea patties, along with the usual continental choices. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout, and the hotel was clean and well cared for despite being fairly new. Having a gym and laundry service was handy too. My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn from April 13-20 and had a great time. It's comfortable and budget-friendly, and we'll definitely come back. A big thank you to the staff of IHG Holiday Inn for making our visit so enjoyable!

The rooms are clean and meet American standards. Staff are really friendly and helpful, and it's great to have hot water, wifi, and good air conditioning. Those comforts can be hard to find outside the USA, and they were all good here.
