The setting is so peaceful, with great hiking nearby and the Brighton salt ponds close by. Sharon was a fabulous host, and her beautiful, clean home made the stay even better. Dinner was made from scratch with fresh ingredients from her garden. I’ll definitely be back!

The rooms can get quite warm without AC, the pool still hasn’t been built, the beach takes a bit of a hike to reach, and getting the shower temperature right wasn’t easy. There’s room to improve, but at their current attractive price, Sharon and Lennox deserve the four-star hotel label and five-star Google rating. They have all the ingredients to take the place further, and we wish them the best with it. They built this special place themselves just before COVID and look after every detail. It’s beautifully decorated and conveniently close to the airport. Sharon and Lennox really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We loved the welcome cocktail, and when we asked how to get to the beach, Lennox walked there with us. Our rental car plans fell through, so Sharon recommended their favorite driver, who took us wherever we wanted all day. The evening meal they prepared was lovely too.

Driving there was a bit of an adventure. Our small rental car and Google Maps did not get along with the poorly maintained roads. We followed three suggested routes that either disappeared, were blocked, or became too rough to pass. If you’re driving, I’d stick with the original route the maps app gives you. That small hassle was worth it once we arrived. There’s no AC in the rooms, which isn’t unusual in the Caribbean, but we’re used to sleeping in cooler temperatures. St. Vincent isn’t known for being cool, though the room wasn’t dreadful. We stayed just one evening and still had a delightful time. The house is spacious, new, sturdy, clean, and immaculate. It’s an intimate place where we got to know fellow guests from New York, and we were even able to give them a lift to the airport the next day. Sharon and Lennox were great hosts, and both the food they prepared and the dining setting were wonderful. The BnB has lovely ocean views, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to the ocean. I’d heartily recommend treating yourself to their hospitality.

I only got to spend one night at The Milligan, which left me wishing I could stay longer. It’s a gorgeous spot in St Vincent, with a fantastic sea view. Sharon and Lennox are the best hosts, and the food, rooms, service, and attention to detail were all outstanding. I definitely hope to return. If you’re heading to St Vincent, this is the place to stay!

Lennox made exploring the whole country fun. Over three days, he took us around and made sure we enjoyed every minute, with a great sense of humor along the way. Sharon and Lennox treated us like family during our four-night stay at the Milligan in March 2023. They were very accommodating about our dietary restrictions and put real care into making delicious breakfasts and dinners. They have a beautiful place, and we’d stay again if we visit St Vincent. I’d highly recommend the Milligan for a perfect vacation.
