Hotel CCT

This used to be a great five-star hotel, but it's very run down now. Maintenance is lacking, things don't work properly, and reception service is very poor. If you're going to Caracas, I wouldn't consider staying here. I'm sure you can find something better for the same price.

I'm so disappointed with the facilities. The price is too high for the quality of service. We arrived Friday night and were given a room that smelled only of fresh paint. The toilet wouldn't flush, and the lights were very dim. They moved us to a supposedly better room, but it was much worse. The AC was leaking, the sink pipe wasn't working, and there was a water leak in the bathroom. On Sunday night my grandmother nearly fell in there, which really frightened me. We called maintenance. He said he'd fixed it and promised to send someone to dry the bathroom, but nobody came. I don't know what he meant by fixed. When I got up to shower Monday morning, I stepped into the bathroom, slipped, and nearly hit my head. I called the front desk, and maintenance told us we couldn't stay in the room. He disconnected the WC pipe and said to get ready to change rooms. That was around 8:40. By 11:15, more than two hours later, we were still waiting. Every time I called the front desk, they said they'd call back, but I never got a call. I had to hold off going to the bathroom because the pipe was disconnected. I called several times for an update about changing rooms and got nothing. This sucks. I'm very disappointed!

The rooms are spacious and clean, though don't expect the internet to be very fast. The room rate is high, but it's worth it if you want everything close by: a shopping center, restaurants, banks, and department stores. For me, this is the best located hotel in Caracas.

The stars are for the CCCT Commercial Center. The CCT Hotel is in there, but I can't rate the hotel because I didn't go there.
