Nueva Toledo Suites & Hotel

The pool was full of mold, with green, dirty tiles and what looked like water that had been sitting there for over two weeks. A big hole where tiles were missing cut my foot in a trench at the bottom. There was no soap in the bathroom, and the prices were high. I paid $20 for a full-day pass and $7 for tiny tequeños, and even found a hair in them. I used to swim, and I was shocked that my hair got stickier than it ever had before, after just one day. A terrible experience. They’re just scammers.

The service was friendly and acceptably responsive, and the facilities have potential. But the hotel needs investment and fresh ideas, along with maintenance, renovation, and updates. It has the infrastructure of a 5-star hotel, yet feels like it’s in 3-star condition. It needs things like paint, elevator buttons, and uniforms. Acceptable overall, but it doesn’t quite meet 4-star standards.

It’s still adequate for a safe, comfortable stay, though the hotel has seen better days. Only one elevator was working, while the other was malfunctioning. The hallways to the rooms need paint, and tiles are missing around the pool. The fountains and bar weren’t working either.

For the room price, I thought it was poor that there wasn’t drinking water available in the room. You have to go to another floor for it, and the water has bugs.
