The beach is close by, so getting to the shoreline was easy, and the views were lovely. After a day out, the clean, nicely decorated room felt like a cozy place to unwind. Everyone at Posada La Mar Hotel was warm and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. We also enjoyed the food and atmosphere at the hotel restaurant. I had a memorable, relaxing visit and would happily come back.

The pool was incredibly nice, and the bedrooms felt clean and new. I was only there for one night, but the Posada has just about everything for a full Margarita beach stay, including seafood and a spot right on the beach. It's a small place, so it shouldn't feel crowded, and service is quick and good. In my opinion, Playa el Yaque is Margarita's best beach, and I didn't want to miss trying this place. Beach service was almost perfect, and the owner is usually on site if you have a special request.

I've stayed at this inn twice now, and it still feels comfortable with good service. The rooms are spotless and smell nice, and breakfast comes with the stay, with plenty of tasty choices. There's also a varied menu at the restaurant. Being only a few steps from the beach on what I think is Margarita's best stretch of sand made it a lovely visit. I'd gladly return to El Yaque.
