Hotel Coral Caribe

The room was comfortable and could easily fit four or five people. The air conditioning worked really well, and the owner is a really nice German guy. The place feels cozy, with a restaurant and bar at an affordable price, very close to Playa El Água. The water isn't always hot, but it's manageable.

I spent my honeymoon there from December 23rd to 26th, 2011 ❤️‍🔥. It was so peaceful, and the beach was half a block away. A really nice memory 🫶🏽 I just unblocked myself, thank you.

In a great location, and quiet and cozy. The staff are always willing to help. Recommended.

A decent hotel for getting some rest, with a pretty, well-kept beach. Just be aware that there are lots of algae in the water after about 10 meters if that's something you dislike. The employees are usually very nice and attentive. You'll need to speak either Spanish or English. The hotel gets a lot of local guests, which could be a real plus, but the entertainment is mainly for locals, or at least Spanish speakers, so it doesn't really encourage people to mix. That's a shame. The surroundings were the biggest downside for me: there's no village nearby with shops to walk around, and excursion vendors can be very dishonest. For example, after bargaining, I bought rum for $20, but the same thing sells for $10 at the airport.
