I’m so angry about this stay. The restaurant service was painfully slow and really poor, and the food was awful. There was bad Wi-Fi and the electricity went off throughout the hotel every day. No coffee machine in the room, and a gym? Haha, how can they advertise one? An absolute waste of money. I have nothing good to say about my stay.

The area has been hit hard economically by the pandemic, on top of the country's existing problems, so rating hotels and restaurants right now is difficult. Most things were fine for us. Our late Booking.com reservation was the snag. When we arrived, they said the central office was closed and offered to make a booking there for twice the price. We turned it down and said we'd contact Booking.com. They then asked us to wait while they tried the central office, and eventually checked us in. Two days later we needed a page printed. They printed it, but the card terminal kept failing when I tried to pay, even after several attempts over time. The same person wouldn't give us the page while we waited for the terminal to come back. Hours later, the manager kindly brought it to us without charging.

Even with Venezuela facing its worst situation in decades, the hotel is clean, orderly, and in good shape. The staff are lovely and ready to help with whatever you need. Room prices seem fair, though the food is just okay and expensive. I'd still recommend staying here.
