Estate Lindholm

The peaceful gardens and sweeping views over the ocean and harbor make for a beautiful setting. Rooms are clean, breakfast is just enough, and the pool was a great place to relax after a day in the ocean. Town is an easy walk, and you can catch a taxi for the ride back up the hill. I’d definitely return.

We loved our twelve days at Estate Lindholm. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful, with a balcony view that was especially striking when the almost daily rainbows appeared between St John and St Thomas. A refrigerator and microwave came in handy for keeping lunch and snacks stocked and drinks cold. We also appreciated the soft cooler, beach chairs, towels, and daily housekeeping. Breakfast each day included fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, pastries, bagels, and coffee. The owners and staff were always cheerful, informative, and available. Thanks to Tim, Savanna, and Brion for a wonderful vacation. The location was ideal for shopping and dining in Cruz Bay, and the North Shore beaches were easy to reach.

Estate Lindholm feels like a home away from home. This was our second visit, and sharing breakfast and conversations with the family made us feel welcome and cared for all over again. The grounds are peaceful and beautifully kept, with lush tropical landscaping and views that never get old. Our room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, with a porch where we enjoyed morning coffee and evening breezes. It was a serene place to unwind after exploring the island. You get a private retreat feel while still being minutes from Cruz Bay and within easy reach of some lovely St. John beaches. We’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, tranquil place with great views, service, and an authentic island feel.

This was our third stay at Estate Lindholm, and we’ll be back. The location is hard to beat, with a two-minute walk to great hikes, beaches, and views of Cruz Bay, plus downtown is less than a five-minute drive or ten-minute walk away. Our room had everything we needed and more, including beautiful views. Beach chairs, a soft cooler, and outdoor water gear like pool noodles were available to use. Breakfast was filling, and Brian, Tim, and Savannah are always around with tips for the day’s adventures.
