Villa South Palm

You only need to bring clothes for Villa South Palm. There’s a full laundry room, and the house has everything else, including linens, kitchenware, beach chairs, coolers, and beach towels. It’s a small palace, thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. We shared the place with the iguanas, who greeted us too. The Marketplace is less than a 10 minute drive away, but Mr. Miller had a welcome package waiting on our first day: meats, cheeses, and salads from Sam and Jack’s Deli, two six packs of beer, and a bottle of wine. We joked about leaving and coming back every day to get that welcome again. The owners and Property Manager James Miller handled everything calmly and promptly, even little questions like whether the pool filter was running. During our stay, the island’s main transformer caught fire, or more like blew up, and we also felt a 5.3 earthquake on the Richter Scale. Nothing fazed our hosts, which was a good thing. Villa South Palm gives you an authentic island experience without giving up modern comforts. I recommend it without reservation, along with any property managed by Mr. Miller. Kudos to everyone.

We shared this beautiful home with another family for a week and had plenty of space, without getting in each other’s way. The amenities were fantastic, and I especially loved the terrace overlooking the pool.
