The all-inclusive rate is worth it, and the food at Iggie's and Oasis is fine, though nothing special. Check with your bartender about whether the alcohol in your drink is covered, since some options that aren’t necessarily top shelf still aren’t included. It’s a beautiful place in a wonderful location. If you can, get a first-floor room facing the ocean. You’re only a few steps from the water, and it’s amazing. The beach is nice, but the ground is very rocky, so bring water shoes or buy some at the gift shop. Most staff are professional and courteous, but the person I spoke to in the gift shop was extremely rude, which was a real shock. My shower’s hot water wasn’t working well. It’s summer in the Caribbean, so I didn’t mind too much, but check yours when you arrive. The boat isn’t working now, and as far as I know the resort isn’t offering water activities like snorkeling or sunset cruises. There are other places to book those. There’s no Uber, so plan for local taxis. I’d come back. Don’t expect outrageous luxury, but for the price, what you get is worth it. It’s a relaxing, nice place to recharge.

We chose the all-inclusive and really enjoyed it. There were lots of delicious options at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The resort is a bit older, but our room was comfortable and nice. The shower was kind of small, though I have no complaints otherwise. Iggies beach bar was fun, with live music and good food. I’d definitely return.

The hotel is handy for Charlotte Amalie and the Red Hook ferry if you have a rental car, but it’s very dated, with maintenance delayed and no updates. The food was good. Iggies was fun, with great staff and entertainment, and the snorkeling and its staff were awesome. If you want an all-inclusive, this is your only option. Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating, even with our broken HVAC. The Oasis restaurant staff seemed unhappy in their jobs, and it showed in their service and attitude.

The only reason I’d take a point off the rooms is the showers. They’re narrow and the showerhead is low, so rinsing our hair wasn’t easy for my tall husband and me. Apart from that, this place is great. The food is delicious, service is great, and Iggie's is always a good time. The staff and owners made us feel like family. We’ll definitely be back!

The Sunday Funday catamaran was the best day ever, and Captain Wes was amazing! We had a phenomenal server at the Oasis, Santana, who treated our family like her own. Big Dog at Iggys was amazing too, and the man at the beach shack for paddle boards and kayaks was top notch. The whole hotel staff was perfect and made us feel like part of their Caribbean family. I can’t recommend this place more for families.
