Muca Hoi An Co-Living & Work Retreat

The quiet setting made it easy to get away from the crowds while still reaching Hoi An Old Town quickly. I liked the pool, shared areas, and free bikes, which made it easy to relax, meet other guests, and get around. The whole place has a calm, green feel, and my clean, comfortable room had everything I needed, including a proper desk for work. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I had a really nice stay at MUCA Hoi An Co-living & Work Retreat and honestly didn't want to leave. It's a peaceful, sociable place that works well for combining travel with some work. I'd definitely stay again. 👍

Our son went to a nearby English-speaking kindergarten, and we found a nanny for our baby easily. That gave us the peaceful evenings together that we really valued. There is also now a gym on site, so you hardly need to leave the property. The layout worked beautifully for our family, with separate areas for work, quiet time, play, and swimming. The kitchen had everything we needed, and staff helped order and bring anything that was missing. They even helped assemble the baby crib we bought, which we're leaving for future guests. Our child could safely walk barefoot around the grounds and water plants with the gardener. My husband worked from a lovely riverside spot with power outlets and wasn't disturbed. We spent three months here with our two small children, aged 10 months and 3 years, and it was hard to leave. From the start, I felt we'd found a calm, safe, comfortable home. Our daughter played with the staff every day, and they grew so close that she sees them as family. The grounds are lush and well cared for, the staff attentive, and the cleaning standards high. Breakfast is simple but delicious, and the clean, relaxing pool was great for children and adults. Even with families, kids, and dogs around, the place stayed peaceful. We had little gatherings in the garden and felt like we were in our own home among friendly neighbors. Our villa had a colonial style, high ceilings, good furniture, and lots of light and space. We bought an extra sofa for the long stay, but otherwise it had what we needed, including a good washing machine, fully equipped kitchen, and large refrigerator. Shops were a five-minute walk away, the local market about five minutes by bike, and the beach was easy to reach by bicycle or scooter. The city center was a quick Grab ride away, while the property itself stayed calm and serene. There were some mosquitoes in the evenings, but the property was treated regularly and they never caused real discomfort. Staff handled every request quickly and with care. During those three months, we felt at home, relaxed, and happy. For us, the stay was perfect, and leaving was incredibly hard.

The location made daily life with children easy, with the city center, beaches, and rice fields nearby and Palm River kindergarten just five minutes away. Our three-bedroom house looked out over a beautiful lake and wide green gardens full of flowers. There was cleaning twice a week, a lovely kids' pool, breakfast for days we didn't want to cook, and a dedicated work area where I could get things done while my family enjoyed the grounds. What really made the stay was the team. They were the warmest, most attentive, genuinely caring staff we've ever met. They lit up around the kids, often knew what we needed before we asked, and created an atmosphere that can't be manufactured. Huge thanks to every one of them. We spent three months here with two young kids, and it's been one of the most extraordinary stays of our lives. It should be rated five stars. We're sad to be leaving in three weeks and will recommend it to all our friends. If you're traveling as a family or with dogs, this is without question the best choice in Hoi An. I stayed for one night and met lots of families staying long term, as well as solo travelers. The friendly staff greeted me with warm smiles and a cheerful “Muca xin chào.” I liked strolling around, listening to birds and watching leaves move in the breeze, or sitting by the pool in the morning. The resort felt calm the moment I arrived, as though the noise and rush of everyday life had stopped. Everything seemed slower and more relaxing. A lovely peaceful place for a short or long stay, especially if you enjoy nature and quiet. I'm sure I'll stay longer next time.
