Hoang Dinh Homestay

The room rate is very reasonable, and being able to pick fruit straight from the trees is a rare treat for someone from the city like me, living in Singapore. There are lots of fruit trees here. I’ll stay again whenever I’m in Bao Loc, especially during durian season in Vietnam.

The weather is good, and it’s not as noisy as Da Lat. The location is nice, and the room was clean. It works well for a big family staying together, especially kids, brothers and sisters. I’d be happy just sleeping, eating and having coffee here every morning. 🌲🌲

The room was clean, the owner was friendly, and the surroundings felt peaceful for a walk. Unfortunately, there’s no breakfast.

For our group of four, Bungalow 10 was a lovely little villa with two bedrooms and a kitchen that also served as the living room. We had plenty of space, lots of greenery and trees around the property, and a great outdoor area. At times the sun was a bit intense, but the green grass over the earth floor made the space really pleasant. The rooms were spacious, the bathrooms had hot water and towels, and the kitchen was great. We even rented a small BBQ for 100k VND, enough for about four people, and cooked in the garden. The price was very good. It’s a little way from the center, but a quiet stay here is lovely, and taxis were so cheap that the distance didn’t bother me. The hosts took great care of us and provided most of what we needed. I’d never stayed overnight in Bao Loc before, and Hoàng Đình homestay left me with a great impression of both the city and its people. From our first contact on Facebook Messenger, they gave us all the information we needed. They didn’t even ask for a deposit to hold the room, just asked us to let them know a day ahead if we had to cancel. Thanks for your service, Hoàng Đình. Hope to see you again soon. I highly recommend this place.
