The room was decent, and I imagine the views are wonderful, though it's been raining the whole time I've been here. The place feels out of the way, and the rooms smell very musty. They advertise a restaurant, but there isn't one. The only food I could get was a cup of noodles, the same kind they leave in the room and that you can buy at a store. As a foreigner, I could only pay cash, not by credit card; QR codes were accepted. The receptionist said they don't get many foreign guests.

The hotel is lovely, with hills all around. There were flies buzzing around my room, which was a bit annoying, but the service was hard to fault. When my motorcycle had a problem, the staff went out of their way to jump-start it, with Duy on the bike and Linh pushing from behind. They even came out again to rescue me after I stalled it soon afterward.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the laundry was affordable. The location is beautiful and peaceful, the food was lovely, and the room had a comfortable bed, a good bathroom, Netflix, YouTube, and the other amenities. Highly recommend.

The mattress was extremely thin, about 6cm, and impossible to sleep on. I also showed the staff that the bed linens hadn't been changed and were covered in hair. Why they don't use a normal mattress is beyond me. 🤦♂️🤷♂️

I've stayed at Sen Villa three times, from July 2020 through last weekend, and have watched it expand and improve. It's become one of the most worthwhile places to stay in Bao Loc. The villa is beautiful, with very clean, well-equipped rooms and several spots across its three terraces and balconies for enjoying valley views. Reaching and leaving by the backroads adds to the whole experience. Definitely a premium homestay in Bao Loc, and I'll keep booking it for my rides.
