I was here as part of a tour and unfortunately had to stay. The room was clean, but old-fashioned and tatty. The bed was okay, though the hot shower flooded the bathroom. Most of the breakfast food didn't look fresh, and it was very poor. The room safe didn't work, and the Wi-Fi was intermittent and very slow. The place needs some care and attention.

The room was small and smelled on the first day, and the Wi-Fi was very slow. Someone got stuck in the bathroom because the door knob was broken, but there was no urgency to fix it. They say the front desk and entrance are open 24/7, yet the front doors are locked at midnight. That's a serious safety concern. What if there were a fire? We should be able to come and go without having to find someone to let us out. I wouldn't recommend this hotel or stay here again.

The location was good, and breakfast was okay with a few options. But this is a 2-star hotel, not a 3-star one. We booked a 2-star package as part of our Mekong tour, but were still surprised when we arrived. There was mould on the sink and in the shower, and tiny insects all over the room's walls. When we told reception, they didn't seem surprised. They sent a cleaner to kill the insects and told us to leave for an hour, without offering another room even though other rooms were available. When we returned, almost all the insects were gone, but the rooms were still noisy. The staff don't speak English at all, so you have to use Google Translate to communicate. I think there are better hotels for the same price.

Breakfast was alright, but the first room had ants. At sunset, the outside hallway doors were left open, and large flies filled the hallways on every floor. The front desk staff seemed indifferent, and we had to argue through Google Translate to get a room change.
