Mari Queen Hotel - Suong Nguyet Anh

A clean room with a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and hot and cold showers. The staff were nice and spoke English. It's in a quiet part of District 1, with Cong Ca Phe, 711, Circle K, and ATMs nearby. A great pick for budget travelers, and I'd highly recommend it.

Getting around from the hotel was easy, and the street was calmer with less traffic except around school pickup times. There are big, beautiful trees, and the room has a mini fridge. The beds and room were clean, and the shower had plenty of hot water and drained well. Laundry is 40k per kg. There are no lamps, so the choice is bright overhead lights or pitch black, and there were no facecloths or hand towels. Ants appeared almost immediately when we had any food or drink in the room. We took out our own garbage and had to ask for more toilet paper because the room wasn't cleaned on our second day of a 48hrs stay. We asked for early check-in, but the hotel was full and couldn't manage it. They also had no extra blanket when I asked. A school shares a wall with the hotel, so there's music and singing first thing in the morning. It didn't bother us since we were up early anyway.

The room was quite spacious, and the hotel sits in a quiet spot with less noise pollution and plenty of convenience stores nearby. The receptionist Anne was accommodating and helpful. We'll definitely come back on our next visit to Vietnam.

The location was great, close to tourist spots and good restaurants. Staff on both day and night shifts were accommodating, and the rooms were clean with good cleaning service. Soundproofing was the only drawback, but it was okay. My friends first thought it might be a scam because the name had suddenly changed. Staff explained that the hotel had recently changed ownership. I'd recommend it to tourists looking for somewhere comfortable and convenient that isn't too pricey.
