Hacoda Homestay - Hostel

The staff made the stay feel like being part of a family, which is what made this place special. We spent four nights here. It’s right by the market and central on the island, but nights were quiet and we slept well. Our room was spacious, clean, nicely designed, and had AC. The beach, main sights, and good town restaurants were all walkable. See you next time🫶🫶

I’d come back to the island just to see the staff again, they were so friendly. The rooms were great and affordable, and the location made it easy to reach markets, a supermarket, restaurants, and more. Thanks for everything, I’m in love with this island now 🫶🏼

The hosts were amazing and took me around the island, including to some of the best food spots. The tours were unforgettable, and the rooms and location were great too. It’s a very social homestay. Best one ever, I can’t recommend it enough, 10/10!! :D

The staff were polite, and the area is good, though getting around really calls for a bike. Taxis charge tourists what seemed to me like ridiculous amounts, while a bike gives you more freedom. The rooms didn’t quite match the adverts, and the pictures need updating. Cleaning and upkeep need work: there was dirt under the bed, a dusty fan, mould on the AC unit, faulty shower fittings, and a broken bathroom bin. Each evening ants crossed the yellow stripe in the room and went into the bathroom. We also found one cockroach, which we think got in through the gap under the door. For what we paid, unfortunately it wasn’t worth it.
