A great little retreat for anyone who loves taking photos. The vintage villa, garden lit up at night, and long street lined with pines all look like they belong in a magazine.

I liked the villa’s design and setup, and it was a comfortable place to work remotely. The location is peaceful and the decor has charm. I stayed for over a week, excluding the weekend, and at first I had a good impression. The problems came on my last night, during a disagreement with an on-site staff member about a discount on the motorbike rental. We didn’t share a language, so we used Google Translate, and the conversation got more and more tense. The staff member then entered my room without permission, took my passport, and threatened not to return it unless I paid. That was completely unacceptable, whatever the payment dispute was about. About an hour later, around 12:47 AM, he came back and knocked on my door again, allegedly to get the motor key. After the conflict, that felt extremely threatening. He later sent me a personal message, which was highly inappropriate in that situation. I contacted the owner, who apologized, but didn’t explain what action had been taken or how this kind of boundary crossing would be prevented. I’m sharing this to protect other guests, especially women traveling alone. The space is beautiful, but the staff’s lack of professionalism and safety protocol seriously undermined my stay. I sincerely hope the owner takes this seriously going forward.

The villa sits in a quiet, tucked-away area, but getting around from there is easy since it’s near the city center. I loved the view so much I didn’t want to go anywhere, and if you’re up early, you can even watch the clouds. The room looked just like the photos and was neat and clean. Despite being a year old, it still felt new and well cared for. There’s a heater too, which was a big help in the 13°C weather during my visit. The price is reasonable, definitely worth a stay.
