Goldient Boutique Hotel

My room matched the booking photos and was clean, with working AC, TV, and other basics. I didn’t see any bugs, and the staff were helpful. The breakfast buffet had a good range of choices. It’s about a 10-minute drive to the city center. A few useful details: airport shuttle rates are 300,000 VND for a small car and 350,000 VND for a big one. Paying by card costs the same as paying cash, with no extra card fee. The hotel can’t exchange money. Breakfast is 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., and complimentary tea is served 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. They also have complimentary mattress toppers if you find the mattress too firm.

The buffet breakfast was the one thing that could be better. The food on the buffet line was only a little warm, and the taste was so-so. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay, and I’d still recommend the hotel. The place is beautiful, service is very good, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and supportive. Our room was spacious, clean, modern, and well maintained, with quality amenities. The view was a highlight, looking out over both the mountains and the city, including the Vinaphone Tower, which I heard someone call the “Eiffel Tower of Da Lat.”

The sliding glass door and walls seemed a bit thin, since traffic noise came through. Still, it’s a good hotel, with beautiful, carefully done design, a large balcony, and a good view. Service was fantastic, and the honest staff found my bag with my wallet that I’d left behind and returned it.

We had three nights at the Goldient, and I was sorry to leave. Da Lat has so many places I liked while planning, but we’re happy with the one we chose. Being a little way from the busiest part of town made it a peaceful place to come back to after a day out. The Grab app makes it easy to get wherever you want safely. A fabulous holiday stay, and the staff looked after us so graciously.
