Glenda Tower Moc Chau Hotel

The staff were the strongest part of my stay. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Even after the breakfast buffet had closed, they served us with a positive attitude. The hotel deserves credit for training such a caring team. I also enjoyed the rooftop bar’s view over the main road and surrounding mountains, and the breakfast buffet had a good range of Vietnamese and Western dishes, all well prepared. My suite was pretty, clean, well stocked, and had a great view. I stayed one night in early March and paid 2.7 million VND for it. Some things made the price hard to justify. The shower pressure was extremely weak. The AC switched off on its own, and I woke up sweating in the middle of the night. One key card didn’t work properly even after it was replaced. During the day, the pool, steam room, sauna, and rooftop bar seemed shut down, with the lights off and no staff around. I had to call reception before using the pool. I would have liked a drink at the rooftop bar during the day, but didn’t want to call someone up just to serve it. The bar was open at night, apparently because a large group had booked the space. I’d consider giving the hotel another try because the employees took such good care of guests. I hope the hotel works on these inconveniences, since the staff clearly care and provide excellent service.
