Hai Long Vuong Hotel

The room was spacious and incredibly clean, with an iron and TV, and you could double lock the door. There’s just one rubbish bin, in the bathroom, so another in the room would be a useful improvement. The basin tap only has cold water, but the shower is right beside it and gives you blisteringly hot water if you wait about a minute. On the fourth floor, the rooftop offers excellent views. The hotel has four storeys, and you can take either the stairs or the elevator at the end of the passage. It’s close to lots of coffee shops and restaurants, with other places a short bike ride away and a bus stop just a short walk from the hotel. Tien, the owner and receptionist, speaks excellent English and really enjoys listening to guests. She’s calm, patient, helpful, and an absolute ray of sunshine. Her husband, Viet, also speaks excellent English and works reception at night. This was one of my best hotel experiences. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay and for all your kindness and friendliness. I hope the hotel stays fully booked for life!

We got a good deal at about $12, and the room had a lovely view, was clean, and felt safe. The family were friendly too. A few things could be better: getting in and out after midnight meant waking the family, the shower was only warm rather than hot late at night, and the fridge was noisy and could perhaps be smaller. Still, a great stay 👍🏼😃

My stay made me very happy. The price was really low, and the owner was very kind.

We were so glad we found this little hotel. It was clean and in a quiet spot close to the center, with loads of great coffee shops nearby. The owners were very helpful and kind. When we had a problem with our motorbike, they helped us out, and they also shared tips about where to go, eat, and shop. They speak really good English, and we enjoyed chatting with them. We also had some delicious meals for under $5 for two people, such good food for such a low price!
