The staff were caring and nice, and breakfast was full. But over the three nights I stayed through a Vietnamairline holiday package, there were a lot of problems. My room looked straight onto a nearby house's rooftop, and the hotel was noisy. I could hear people talking and laughing in the hall, and at 5:30 am there was a lot of furniture moving in the room upstairs. There was no toothpaste in the bathroom, and the elevator sometimes didn't work. The worst part was the electrical danger. The hair dryer suddenly exploded while my friend was using it. Luckily, my friend wasn't hurt.

The rooms at the back look out over the city, which was a nice bonus. It’s a small, clean, modern boutique hotel, and breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful too. There’s no air-conditioning, but it was winter when I stayed, so that was fine.

The daytime team were pleasant and helpful, but arriving was a mess. We waited in the lobby for 45 minutes and called every number we could find because nobody was at reception. When the night receptionist finally came, he seemed drunk. It looked like he’d been partying with friends instead of working. There also wasn’t any hot water until 8 the next morning.
