The rooftop BBQ is worth arriving hungry for, and they serve it every other night. Breakfast was really good too. I stayed in a comfortable 10-bed mixed dorm, with very roomy lockers, and staff came in daily to clean the rooms and bathrooms. The hostel is in a pleasant, quiet neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Van was usually at reception while I was there and helped me with whatever I needed. The rest of the staff were great and friendly as well. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Da Lat.

The hosts are lovely, and there are lots of local places to eat nearby. It’s an easy 15-minute walk to the centre. I had a private room that was spacious and comfortable, with probably the best bed I’ve slept in so far in Vietnam. The rooftop BBQ was delicious and a fun way to meet other travellers. I’d happily recommend staying here.

Everyone at Mooka’s home was kind, patient, and ready to help us figure out what to do and see or book buses. I especially loved the BBQ dinner. As a vegetarian, I found it filling and well worth the price. The beer is reasonably priced too, which made me happy :) Thanks so much, I’d come back in a heartbeat.

A great spot for solo travellers, with plenty of other travellers to meet. The dorms are clean and cozy, with a comfortable mattress, curtains, and a secure locker. They arrange guided trips, and bike rentals are only available to people with an international driving permit.

I meant to stay briefly but ended up extending twice, for five days total. The owner is kind and makes things easy, with useful tips and help arranging tours, bike rentals, and buses. The BBQ dinner is fantastic, with lots of vegetarian choices. Dorms had no bugs, and both the rooms and bathrooms were cleaned daily. There are bean bags in the common room, a nice place to hang out and chill. Dalat is around 20 degrees, so I didn’t need AC, though there are fans in the rooms if you want one. Definitely recommend it for the relaxed, social feel.
