I’ve stayed at Lush House twice now, and the room was still spacious, very clean, and smelled lovely. The hosts are friendly, too. The area stays fairly quiet, even though the night market is only a 10-15 minute walk away. There are also a few hair-wash spas nearby. ^^

For about $24 a night, we got the cheapest room they offer, and it was surprisingly large, with a kitchenette, smart TV, and big wardrobe. It’s a very good deal. The building is a furnished apartment rental on a quiet little street, around a 10-minute walk from Xuan Huong lake. The staff mostly gave us privacy, which suited us. They live at the back of the building, and I’m sure they’d have helped if we’d asked. They did ask to hold our passports, which I haven’t seen much at other hotels in Vietnam lately. We explained that we needed to keep them, so they took photos and returned them. I’d be happy to stay here again.

The rooms are big and have a sofa, and we found them clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bedding, shower, and wifi were all great. The kitchen can’t really be used for cooking since there’s no stove or cookware, and there’s no dining table or chairs. The TV isn’t positioned in front of the sofa either. From the photos, it looks like an apartment, but with those limits it works more like a basic hotel room.

We had a really nice, spacious room and the staff were very friendly. It was a shame we didn’t get one with a balcony.
