Zen Valley Dalat

There was plenty of greenery, flowers, and trees around the hotel, which made the setting feel peaceful. Our room was clean and well kept, and the location worked well for the places we wanted to visit. Breakfast had generous portions and lots of options for different tastes. The coffee and tea could be better, though. I highly recommend it for the lovely surroundings, cleanliness, and convenient location.

I got food poisoning from the Zen Valley restaurant, and it ruined two of our three days here. The hotel didn’t show concern or ask whether I needed help while I was ill. At checkout they apologized and offered to refund what we’d paid for that meal, but I felt both the apology and offer of help should have come as soon as they knew what had happened. The staff were friendly, but the customer service fell short. I got the impression management doesn’t have a clear vision or motivate the staff. The bed was comfortable and we slept well, except for the night I was sick. Even without the food poisoning, I don’t think the stay was worth the price. I don’t recommend it.

Though it’s not near the center, the hotel is quiet and the staff are friendly and enthusiastic. Our room had a large bathtub and a mountain view. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and the rooms cost between 1,300,000 and 1,700,000 VND, which seemed reasonable rather than expensive. There are lots of beautiful spots here. I’d come back if I get the chance. Highly recommended.

The pool was nice, the view was beautiful, breakfast was great, and we had a lovely room. The staff were very friendly, flexible, and accommodating, and for the price it was a great experience. I’m just not sure why the pool closes at 5pm. I would’ve liked to swim later.
