They called it antique style, but it just seemed old and pretty dirty. The bedding felt fuzzy and smelled musty, the curtains had stains, and there were things left in the toilet by previous guests. It was unsettling and disappointing.

The owner put it well: if you’re after luxury, this homestay doesn’t offer that. What it does have is a cozy, nostalgic feel. The room was spacious enough, clean, and quiet, with some very cute notes.

Everything was fine, but a few things could be better. There should be an outlet by each bed. Wi-Fi doesn’t reach the fourth floor, and the signal from the second is very weak. The bathroom is too small and doesn’t have a sink.

The air conditioner was broken and couldn’t be fixed. They never answer the phone if you forget something. There’s no TV or refrigerator, and the air conditioner doesn’t work, just like the name. Back then.
