Nalani Homestay & Hostel Hoi An

Nalani Homestay was such a relaxed place, and the people were nice. I liked being a little outside busy Hoi An while still being just a short Grab or bike ride away, with the beach close too. The dorms were spacious and clean, and breakfast was included and excellent. I meant to stay for less time, but ended up adding three nights.

The little shop downstairs has beer, snacks, and other useful things, and the kitchen has what you need to cook. There's also a clean pool, comfortable enough dorm beds, and really nice bathrooms. On-site laundry and scooter rental make things handy, too. The owners, Martin and his partner, are laid back and helpful, and the community feel is there as soon as you arrive. It's an affordable, clean, welcoming hostel in Hoi An. Their WhatsApp group has a great range of activities and restaurant and coffee shop suggestions. Thanks for having us!

I came for a few days and kept extending because I was having such a good time at Nalani. I tried both the four-bed female dorm and a private room, and both were clean and comfortable, with good AC and hot water. Lan & Martin are lovely hosts who can help with suggestions or arranging things. They try to put on events for guests and join in when they can. The beach is less than a 10-minute walk away, and I loved the location. The sunrise there is gorgeous. An Bang's main area, with its restaurants and shops, is also under 10 minutes on foot. There's a great café around the corner with really good coffee, and the old town is about a 10-minute Grab ride away. It's a quieter place to stay in Hoi An. Totally recommend it.

It felt like coming home to family: such a cosy, relaxing place, with a very friendly and helpful owner. The hostel was spotless, and everything felt easy. The beach is close, and you can reach the old town with a short bike ride. Perfect location. This is the best hostel I've stayed at in Hoi An, and I can't recommend it enough.
