Adaline Hotel & Suite

The location suited us well, with the beach a short walk away and plenty of restaurants, cafés, and stores close by. We stayed three nights and were happy with that part. There was an unpleasant bathroom smell, though, and after we reported it nobody came to check. We were out on day tours most of the time and got back late and tired, so we didn’t manage to follow up.

We booked a 2-bed, 2-bath family room expecting basic cleanliness and service, but housekeeping barely cleaned. They spent only 10-15 minutes, mopped the floor, and rinsed the cups instead of washing them properly. Even the supposedly ‘fresh’ glasses for the welcome drink stank. The staff were rude and unprofessional. I also felt discriminated against. All Indian guests were given lower-floor rooms, which made the stay feel racist and extremely uncomfortable. I’m Indian and live in the USA, and I’ve never been treated this way before. When we checked out at 5:30 AM, staff were sleeping and refused to help take our bags out. The hygiene, professionalism, and guest treatment were unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Good value, with the basics covered: clean, secure, comfortable, and good water pressure. The beach, restaurants, and covenience stores are easy to get to. Grab food orders are allowed, just pick them up outside. Thank you Jennie Hannah!

The staff were friendly, and the price was affordable. The bedding had a strong bleach smell, though, and the hot water system didn’t work very well. Breakfast options were limited and the food wasn’t very tasty.
