We'd happily stay at Ahoy Hoi An again. The two pools were the highlight for us, especially in the heat and humidity after our daytime outings. We also took a lovely group bike tour through Hoi An and nearby areas, past rice fields and local small businesses. The staff were welcoming and efficient, and our room was a good size with everything we needed. Breakfast had plenty of European and Asian options, and the dinner menu was varied with very good food. It was ideally placed for our time in Hoi An and the wider Vietnam trip.

We're halfway through our stay at Ahoy Hoi An and having a wonderful time. Our group of ten is enjoying the pools, breakfasts, and room service, and the location is close to everything while still quiet and less hectic than the main town. Naomi and the rest of the front of house team have been so helpful with excursions and made us feel very welcome. The staff are all friendly and kind.

The room's condition was alarming. The air conditioner made a lot of noise but barely cooled the room, so I was awake all night. The hot and cold water was unreliable, swinging between too hot and stopping completely. It also didn't look properly cleaned before new guests arrived. The sheets and pillowcases were stained and seemed not to have been changed, there was dust all over the floor, and the bathroom smelled damp and moldy.

Good value for money, and the people were kind and helpful. We had a rather good stay. Breakfast could use more choice and better quality, and the walls let too much sound through.

We ended up extending our Christmas break stay because the staff made sure we were comfortable and were so helpful. Thanks to everyone at Ahoy for the hospitality. We loved the spa and the cocktails, enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and spent a couple of days by the pool.
