Camry Hotel

There’s no breakfast, and you can’t really eat here since it’s just a coffee shop serving drinks like coffee or energy drinks. The price is good, and the staff are polite and helpful. When we asked to borrow helmets, she gave them to us for free. The bathroom was so cramped that my dad wouldn’t have fit, and when I raised my hand, I could hit the ceiling. There was mold on the walls and bathroom door. The mattress was rock hard, harder than I can usually manage, and it dipped into a V shape across the middle. To lie flat I had to sleep in the center, but I was sharing the bed with my mom. You’re supposed to leave the key with the receptionist, which is fine, except she wasn’t always at the desk and would be off in the kitchen or talking with other staff. I worried a stranger could come in, take the key left there, and get into the room to take our things.

The room was moldy and the furniture old. We’d booked several days ahead, but when we arrived the hotel terrace was being renovated from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. By 4 p.m. we had to move to another hotel, and the receptionist still demanded payment for the full day. Terrible.

The price was good, but everything else was awful. There were holes in the walls, the mattress was like a rock, nothing worked, and the air conditioning was terrible. Don’t stay there.
