There was no receptionist, so checking in meant calling the owner directly. One of the owners was rude and had an attitude whenever I asked for help. The bedsheets smelled awful, like they hadn’t been washed, and water was leaking from the bathroom sink. Honestly, I wonder if many of the five-star reviews were paid for or came from the owner’s close relatives, because the service didn’t reflect them at all. This place was a nightmare. Stay away!

We called about a same-day stay and were told there was no vacancy, even though Booking showed rooms available. She apologized and said she’d forgotten to mark it as taken. Two days later we booked through Booking with a non-refundable reservation and automatic confirmation, then she messaged that the place was occupied. She offered us another room “very close to the beach” instead. Be careful, and maybe message her before booking.
