Cloudy Apartments

The family who runs this hostel are warm and friendly, while still giving you space. There are open areas downstairs and upstairs where you can sit and relax, and it’s near town but quiet. The rooms are spacious and clean. They also offer a short cooking class for free. This was my favourite hostel in Vietnam, and I’d happily stay again.

The family and staff were so welcoming and ready to help with whatever we needed. The breakfast was amazing, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with really nice beds. We had two outdoor spots to sit and unwind. It was a 15-minute walk to the ancient town and a 15-minute bike ride to the beach, which worked perfectly. Bikes were free.

A peaceful place with clean rooms, free breakfast, and bicycle hire. The staff were lovely and very helpful, and I’d recommend staying here if you want a relaxing visit to Hoi An. The beach is about a 10-15 minute ride away, while the town takes roughly 10-15 minutes on foot.

It’s just a 5-10 minute walk to the edge of town, which keeps things quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. You also get to see less touristy places, like the roadside restaurants. I’d just choose whichever one has the most locals. The only small letdown was breakfast: no fresh milk for my coffee and just one boiled egg. Still, it’s a minor issue. The place was very clean and spacious, the owners were sweet and helpful, and I’d recommend it.
