The rooms were lovely and pretty hygienic, and I really enjoyed my stay. It’s a great budget hostel, with a pool and a nice seating area around it. The reception staff, phi and trang, were so welcoming and helped with bike rental, bus bookings, and exploring the city. They even took time to sit down with me and mark the best of hoi an to see on a map.
The reception and security helped us feel safe when we had an issue with a guy in our room. Since the hostel was full and we couldn’t switch rooms, they even offered us a free stay at the sister hostel. Daisy and Phi were kind throughout and helped us with so many things. We loved the fun atmosphere and felt safe there. Breakfast was amazing, better than at many hotels, and there were free daily activities like a cooking class and beer pong tournament. The location is great between the old town and the beach. We’ll definitely come back one day!
The hostel has a fun vibe, great people working there, and comfortable bedrooms with lovely breezes. I was disappointed that the listing mentioned “free rum and coke” and “free cold beer” without saying these offers are only available for 30 minutes a week. If you’re not there over the weekend, you won’t get those drinks free. At least the bar is cheap and has plenty.
The entrance had a pretty touristy party feel, but the rooms were clean, nice, and quiet.
Spring and Luke at reception were lovely and so helpful. Whenever I had a question or problem, they helped right away. The rooms were clean and tidy, and I had a really nice stay. Breakfast was so good, with loads to choose from: fresh fruit, eggs, toast, marmalade, peanut butter, pancakes, baked bananas, coffee, and more.
