Crowne Plaza Danang City Centre by IHG

The gym was amazing, and you should try the sauna and steam rooms. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The people were the best part, especially Steven Huynh, the front office manager, and Lynd & Loki in the club lounge. They were kind, accommodating, and hard-working. We’ll be back.

The club lounge was a lovely bonus. There were sweets from 3-5pm, then snacks and drinks during cocktail time from 5.30-7.40, plus non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, and coffee through the day. Loki was knowledgeable and very helpful. The modern, stylish rooms had beautiful Han River views and comfortable beds, and the service was excellent. It’s right in the city, within walking distance of cafes, restaurants, and nightlife. We had a great time at Crowne Plaza Danang City Centre.

The buffet had a good variety, and I especially liked the tea selection and the Antipodes products from NZ in the room. The hotel was clean and well maintained, with comfortable, luxurious rooms in a convenient city location close to everything. Most staff, including reception and the front desk, were warm and welcoming. But the hosts and manager-type staff at the buffet felt cold and not very hospitable. They also seemed much more welcoming toward certain guests, especially fair-skinned ones, which didn’t feel good. A good, comfortable stay in a great location, though that part was disappointing.

Ms. Ni quickly and gracefully sorted out a mix-up with my room type at check-in, and Ms. Lynd gave outstanding service in the lounge. The staff were warm, professional, and helpful, and I had a great stay. There was a slight smell from the bathroom vents, but covering them with a thick piece of paper fixed it easily. It’s a solid property, and I’m glad I tried it.
