Before renting an apartment here, keep in mind the walls don't block sound well. You can hear an iPhone vibrating on a table and the toilet in the flat upstairs. The car wash next door can play loud music from 7:30 am, with occasional karaoke during the day, and people talking loudly on their phones right under your window.

I had a good stay at Davi's. The rooms look modern and are good for the price, the location is quiet, and you can buy water cheaply from the jugs downstairs. A few things to know: negotiate firmly on the rent, and avoid signing for more than a month unless you get a substantial discount. The deposit can be negotiated, but if you leave early, the landlord will keep it and won't negotiate. I had cockroaches a couple of times, though that probably depends on the room, and I don't know an easy fix. My friend's fourth-floor one-bedroom apartment had soundproofing problems, and they moved out because of it. The bike parking gate is awkward too. Fine for a week or two, but annoying after that.

The room comes fully furnished, and the owner is lovely. The monthly price is reasonable, and it's a great room for Expats.

The owner is kind and quite funny, and the apartment itself is very nice, with clean rooms and modern facilities. The area feels safe, and there's a local market nearby with delicious, inexpensive food. The price is reasonable too.
