The extra towel charge at checkout felt unreasonable since the towels had only become dirty through normal use, but we paid it to avoid more arguments. Towels are meant to be used and then washed by the hotel. The reception staff weren't very accommodating; when we raised concerns, it often seemed they were looking for ways to add charges instead of helping. Communication was frustrating too, as they frequently didn't listen properly and sometimes raised their voices. Breakfast was poor for vegetarians, with very little variety and often little more than bread and jam. We also noticed stains on the bathroom doors, which made the housekeeping seem below standard. We paid all the requested charges, but left feeling that guest satisfaction didn't matter. Better service, fairer policies and cleaner rooms would make a real difference.

The rooftop garden and bar were my favorite, with beautiful Han River views and one of Da Nang's best spots to watch the Dragon Bridge show. Make a reservation so you don't miss out. I was here while filming for Crash Course Hotels. There's a small but adequate gym, a pool and the rooftop bar. My compact room was well equipped, with comfortable beds, a city view from the balcony, a safe, minibar and a bathroom with a seated shower area. Breakfast had solid options, and the staff were genuinely friendly. Tour groups come through regularly, so common areas can get busier at certain times, though the atmosphere stays quiet and family friendly. The room decor was really pretty, and the bedding was amazingly soft and comfortable. Staff were attentive and nice. The bathroom had a bad smell from when we first entered the room, maybe from the drain, though I'm not sure. The shower pressure was good, and the amenities were fine. Bring conditioner if you use it, since they don't provide any, but they have everything else.

The people working here are hardworking, yet they stayed so friendly and open. Please keep that in mind and only ask for daily housekeeping if you really need it. I enjoyed my stay so much and hope the workers thrive too. The hotel offers a rooftop workspace, a pool, and a breakfast with lots of options, and the value for money has to be among the highest. I don't know how the quality could get any better. It's the best stay I've had so far in Vietnam. My river view room was beautiful, but its window couldn't be opened. Thinking it over, I'd choose a balcony room next time to get some fresh air. The sauna was broken during my stay, which is okay, these things happen. The welcome was super friendly, and the staff were always warm, honest, fair and willing to help.
