Fivitel Hoi An Hotel

The team at fivitel Hoi An made our stay special, welcoming, friendly, helpful, focused and nice. We weren't keen on the city itself because it felt flooded by Western tourists, but the hotel was great value and a very good choice. We'd enjoyed multiple nights at fivitel da nang before this and expected fivitel Hoi An to be a good idea too, which proved right. The reviews about construction noise may have been right, since an entire hotel complex was removed, as you can still see on Google Maps, but it's gone now. With that whole area gone, we had a lovely ocean view and a calm, quiet, relaxing stay with no construction noise at all on wednesday/thursday. The fivitel hotels aren't the newest, but they're well maintained and have a reliable standard. Thank you to the people who work there!

The location felt really out of the way, and you need a taxi to get anywhere. I was also misled by the photos, which showed lots of buildings and palm trees in front of the hotel. In reality it's more like a building site, with half-finished buildings around and nothing in front, no greenery or buildings like the pictures showed. The hotel itself was lovely, with really comfy beds, efficient air conditioning, amazing attentive staff, and one of the best breakfasts I've ever had, with an insane selection. That's why I gave it 3 stars.

We really liked the quiet, peaceful atmosphere here. The hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff were friendly and always helpful, which made the stay more pleasant. It's quite far from the Old Town, but the hotel shuttle is very convenient. Great value for the money and very affordable. I'd recommend it.

We only spent one night here, but were very happy with it and would definitely return. The quiet location helped us sleep really well, and the rooms were clean. Staff were incredibly friendly, and most spoke good English. Breakfast was generous, with a wide selection. We felt very comfortable, and it was excellent value for money.
