Green Bud Homestay

We spent two nights in a twin room at this homestay, which is in a pleasant location and was really nice. Flower, the owner, was kind and helpful, and lent us two bicycles to explore the city. She also arranged a minivan to take us to Da Nang Railway station early in the morning. The roads around the homestay are wonderfully smooth for riding.

The service is what really makes this place stand out. Thi has worked in hospitality, and it shows: professional, welcoming, attentive, and helpful. No request was left unattended, and Thi's family are genuinely nice hosts. I was lucky enough to join their New Year's celebrations, which was a highlight of my time in Hoi An. I booked two nights and kept extending until I'd been there well over two weeks. The property feels secure, and nights are quiet and easy for sleeping. Wi-Fi worked great apart from occasional late-night spells, which I've found common at lodging places around the world. I stayed in a ground-floor double with access to a private outdoor garden area. The room was a good enough size and in very good condition, with tasteful decor, great quality bedding, and an ultra-comfortable bed. The A/C worked well. There was a TV, refrigerator, sitting area, hair dryer, and a mini bar with snacks and drinks for purchase. The bathroom was a good size, with no separate shower area, strong water pressure, and plenty of hot water. Breakfast is served on the patio for guests who order it. It also works as a shared space where people can meet, read, relax, or work. The location is good, a decent walk into town or a 5-10 minute bike ride. Bikes are free and there are lots to choose from, so one was always available, though they're showing their age. Nearby restaurants have Vietnamese local and street food, as well as Western options like Italian. A 25-minute bike ride away in the direction opposite town gets you to the beach. This is great value if you want a quality place away from the Old Town bustle, with a top-quality property and excellent service.

The dorm bed was comfortable, and there were lockers. The owner and staff were super nice and genuinely helpful. For fair prices, you can get food and coffee, use laundry service, arrange a tour, rent a bike, or book airport pickup and drop-off to or from the homestay.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the place was very quiet. Everyone was super nice. We didn't need their bikes since it was close enough to walk. The tours were good and cost less than the ones on TripAdvisor.
