Hoi An Ancient House Resort And Spa

Minh was such a cheerful face to see each morning at breakfast. The hotel also made getting around easy, with free buses to the city and beach. You can use the beach chairs for free if you show your towel, and there are complimentary bikes too, which are handy on a budget. It’s very central, with plenty of good places to eat and have clothes tailored nearby. Our room was beautiful, with an awesome bathroom and a freestanding bath. They provided water and some bathroom supplies, which we appreciated as backpackers. Breakfast had an amazing spread, and the pool was a lovely spot to cool off.

The rice paper making session in the hotel was a great part of our visit. We got to see how they make the noodles they eat there and try it ourselves. The guest bicycles were helpful too, and let us get around while experiencing the traffic like a local. We stayed two nights and had no regrets. The place is well maintained and the staff are fantastic. A special mention to Minh, the Guest Relationship Officer, who kept checking what guests needed and made our stay much more enjoyable.

There’s a peaceful, garden-like feel, with plants, rooms, and the pool arranged around the property. The dining room is lovely, and breakfast is a big buffet with Western and Asian choices, including some nice Hoi An specialities. The rooms are spacious, the shower is nice, and the staff are very helpful.

The reception team helped us plan our tours and supported us at every step. Minh especially stood out for warm hospitality, attention to detail, and steady help throughout our stay. The staff were charming and genuinely supportive, which made the whole visit even more pleasant. We had a wonderful time and shared some photos with the hotel as memories. We’d gladly come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
