Hoi An Coco Viet Homestay

The family were so friendly and welcoming, and arranging breakfast times or other details over WhatsApp was easy. Our room was spacious and really clean. It’s only about a 5-10 minute walk to the sights in Hoi An old town. Thank you!

It was good overall. The place is about a 15-minute walk from the old town, though the immediate surroundings are only okay. It feels more like a hotel, with charges for things like laundry and food, and you have to carry your own luggage up to the higher floors.

I liked being able to spend time in the courtyard, and the quiet corner of Hoi An made it easy to get away from the crowds while still walking to the main attractions. The owners were warm and helpful, shared good places to eat and shop nearby, and made us feel at home. Our room was spacious, with lovely traditional Hoi An design and distinctive little details. Cocoviet Homestay has a real local feel, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hoi An.

Coco Viet sits on the edge of old town, so we could head into the tourist area or stay among the more local parts of town, where there are lots of great, inexpensive cafes and food. The best bahn mi we had in Vietnam was at the end of the street. We appreciated being outside the crowded section, where tourists and contrived gift shops have taken over. It’s family run, and they treated us like family. The place was clean, beautifully decorated, and inviting. We were excited as soon as we walked into our room, which doesn’t happen often. Highly recommend.
