Hoi An Ivy Hotel

Right by the river and on the edge of the old town, the location was ideal and the price was affordable. Our room was clean and had air conditioning. Lisa was so friendly and happy to help with anything that made the stay more comfortable. We had an incredible time here and I can't recommend it enough.

Ngoc at the front desk welcomed us with a map of hoi an and a few useful tips as soon as we arrived. That kind of care made a real difference. Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Thanks for such a great stay.

My room was a good size and comfortable, and the best thing about the hotel is its position right in the heart of Hoi An. Old Town is only a few minutes away, with museums, souvenir shops, and nighttime lantern boat trips close by. The staff were friendly, though the receptionists didn't all speak English at the same level. I also had already paid my accommodation fee when someone asked me whether I had paid, so the staff could be better organized and more careful. Since Vietnam gets so many tourists, investing more in staff training would help. Even with those issues, the location and other positives outweighed the drawbacks. I'd consider it if you want a central hotel with friendly staff.

Julie and Lisa got in touch a few days before our trip to check that we had what we needed. They were warm, welcoming, and spoke English and French. They also arranged an airport pickup from Danang Airport for less than Grab, plus a coconut boat ride with transportation at a much lower price. The hotel itself feels cozy, with tasteful decor. Upper-floor rooms have balconies facing the river and old quarters, while the ground-floor rooms open onto a small sunny backyard. Hien made a lovely breakfast spread in a bright dining area, too. It's a wonderful place at a reasonable price, within an easy walk of the interesting spots.
