Lakeside Homestay

The family made us feel so welcome and cared for, and I loved staying here. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, just the right size, and the lake view was beautiful. Free bicycles were available anytime, and it was only a five-minute ride to the beach. I’d happily come back.

My girlfriend and I loved this place. We had the beautiful upstairs room with a balcony, so ask for that one. It’s a great little spot along the river, very picturesque for a few beers or breakfast. The beach is about 1 km away, an easy ride by motorbike or bicycle, and still easy enough to walk. The town centre is around 2 km away. Such good value. We loved it, and you will too, 100%.

I spent most of my 45 days working in a room with a lake view, and it became my home. The family felt like my family too. Phung and Houng are generous and always ready to help with whatever you need. They really make you feel part of the family, and their sons hung and Cuong are polite and kind. There’s a kitchen you can use if you want to cook, and bicycles for exploring. The location was perfect for me: away from the old town, but I could bike there when I wanted. The beach is very close. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place, by the river and rice fields.

The hosts were the best part of Lakeside Homestay. They greeted us with a drink and fresh fruit, and were so friendly and accommodating that we felt at home right away. Our room overlooked the lake from its balcony, and the view was beautiful and peaceful. The rooms are spacious and clean, cleaned daily, and come with two free waters each day. WiFi was very good. Hoi An centre is about 3 km away, easy to reach with the free bicycles. There are also some really good restaurants nearby if you’d rather stay close. Prices are very good for what you get. It’s an exceptional place!
