Lasenta Boutique Hotel Hoian

The hotel has a nice pool, a pretty basic gym, and a spa like most hotels. There’s a free shuttle to the city center and beach at specific times. The room had a large bathroom, a comfortable bed, and AC that worked well. The pillows felt a bit too tall and uncomfortable to me. I asked the staff for help and they promptly brought two more. Those were better, though I still had trouble sleeping. Breakfast was a decent buffet, the space was clean, and all the staff were welcoming.

We liked the location: it took about 20 minutes to walk into town, or we could get a very cheap Grab. A shuttle also runs to and from the Old Town and beach. Free bikes are handy for riding through the paddy fields or into town. We’d heard some comments about road noise, but our room faced the road and we found the noise minimal. The rooms are huge, well furnished, and have really comfortable beds. The pool area is lovely, though the water was a bit chilly in January. Staff were friendly and polite, the surroundings are beautiful, and breakfast had a good buffet with a fresh egg station. We’d absolutely stay again.

The room was incredible, easily the largest I’ve ever had in a hotel. There was a king bed, two desk spaces, a sitting area facing the rice fields, a separate toilet, and a full wet room with a rain shower and freestanding tub. Check-in was quick, breakfast was good, and the hotel was clean with very friendly staff. The pool overlooking the rice fields is out of this world. It’s just a quick Grab ride to the Old Town, about $1, and that’s well worth it for a stay here. I really don’t want to leave. The hotel exceeded my expectations by a lot.

A quiet, clean place with a very comfortable stay, and the pool was the standout feature. Staff were friendly, helpful, and gave excellent service throughout. The free ride to the Old Town could run more often, and smaller bicycles would help guests who aren’t very tall. A foldable bike would be useful too.
