It’s quieter than most other areas and could be worth booking if you’re a heavy sleeper or find a good deal. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there are no sidewalks nearby, which is a little inconvenient. The room was dusty, and belongings and hairs from a previous guest were still there. The bathroom floods when you shower, leaving the floor wet despite the separator. There was rust in the sink and on the hot water kettle, which made them uncomfortable to use. The lamps seemed to be only decorative, with exposed cable wiring. The gym stays open until midnight and opens again at 6am, leaving only six hours of quiet. Even then, you can hear heavy weights being dropped in the middle of the night. In the early morning, the sudden sound of a barbell being dropped 3-4 times is scary and unexpected. I’d strongly suggest changing the gym hours to allow at least a full 8-9 hours of peace and quiet so hotel guests can sleep properly.

I stayed for two full months, including an extra month after my flight was cancelled because of the war trouble. I had a pool-view room, and it was still an amazing experience. The hotel is a bit pricier than average, but the gym is air-conditioned and fully equipped, room cleaning is twice a week, there are several restroom amenities, and there are no bills for water, electricity, parking, and so on. That made life very easy. The pool is nice, every part of the hotel is clean, and a team of super friendly cleaners works on it every day. My room was exceptionally well insulated from temperature, light, and sound. It was spacious, with a fully furnished kitchen, balcony, flat TV, two tables, king-size bed, well-working air conditioner, and electronic door lock. The staff were super friendly, and the host was trustworthy. When I asked at booking for a bigger refrigerator and a microwave, I got them at no charge. He also helped me rent a scooter and shared useful tips about where to exchange money at the best rate and where to shop. The location is perfect, 4-500 meters from the main beach and nightlife, but in a quiet spot where I could sleep well. I’m happy with what I spent. If I return one day, I’ll stay here again. Super recommended.

The gym was the reason we picked LeCap, and it really is a standout. It may be the best hotel gym in Da Nang, so it could suit someone staying a night or two who mainly wants to work out. The pool was clean, but being shaded and at ground level left the water extremely cold, almost like a lake. We hardly saw anyone using it. We spent a month here, from January to February 2026, and our view of the place steadily went downhill. At first it felt closer to four stars, then three after a couple of weeks, and by the end we felt it was a two-star stay. For a longer visit, I wouldn’t recommend it. Although the location is central on paper, most places still meant a 15-30+ minute walk beside busy roads. That got tiring and inconvenient over time. The rooms were also very small. Even the largest king “apartment” we booked was smaller than a standard hotel room, and the apartment label sets the wrong expectation. There was barely a kitchen to speak of. The tiny fridge could hardly hold leftovers, and there were almost no supplies for cooking or preparing a simple meal. Furniture was very cheap, and unless you book a two-bedroom unit, there’s no dining table. It felt as if the money went into the gym and the rooms were cut back heavily. Housekeeping came only twice a week, with sheets changed once weekly. For what we paid, that felt frustrating and hard to justify, especially in a country with very low labor costs. It seemed more like a hostel or serviced apartment arrangement than hotel service. The bedding was uncomfortable and low quality, and the towels were so worn that we seriously thought about buying our own. We’ve had better towels in budget hotels and hostels in Vietnam. We also found the hospitality disappointing. Staff rarely greeted us, didn’t help with luggage or show us to our room when we arrived, and were often rude in response to basic questions. At this price, that lack of welcome stood out. The gym is open until midnight, and from our room on the fourth floor we could hear heavy weights being dropped from the eighth. If you need quiet evenings and sleep, that’s a real problem. For a gym-focused traveler, bodybuilder, or one-night stay, LeCap might work. We’ve stayed in hotels at every price level around Vietnam, and for a month-long visit there are much better Da Nang options for location, room size, furnishings, staff, and daily cleaning.

I didn’t use the gym, though I can see how it might suit someone who is into working out. We had planned a full week at Le Cap, but I found it hard to stay that long. The bathroom window leaked into the bedroom, leaving water on the floor. There also seemed to be mold around the seals and on the ceiling. I’m not especially sensitive to mold, but woke each morning with an irritated throat and headache. Those symptoms stopped after we moved to another hotel. To their credit, management sent someone to work on the silicone caulking, and they replied promptly over WhatsApp and said in writing they would try to fix it. The leak continued afterward, though. There was a nonworking exposed outlet next to the bed. The toilet seat was stained reddish brown when we arrived; when I raised it, they asked me to try wiping it with wet toilet paper. I don’t understand why they didn’t offer to clean or replace it instead of asking me to check whether it was a stain. I hope Le Cap has since fixed these problems. They seem addressable, and I appreciated management’s responsiveness, but at the time they made the stay difficult.

The place felt like home over the month I stayed. Staff were incredibly friendly and gave it a warm, family-like community feel. The rooms were new, comfortable, and seemed far better than the price would suggest, and the whole hotel was spotless. I especially liked the work area, which fit nicely into my daily routine. The food was tasty, and the coffee surprised me by being so good. The pool was clean and relaxing, and the gym is hands-down the best in Da Nang, with no comparison. The location was great, quiet when I wanted that but still close to everything. I’d happily come back, whether for a short or longer stay, and recommend it to anyone visiting Da Nang.
