Dreamy House Boutique Hotel

For what it costs, this is a really good hotel. The room and bed were comfortable, there were no bugs, and they cleaned every day. There isn’t a workspace or desk, though, so it’s not set up for working remotely on a laptop.

Nothing like the pictures. The room was filthy and disgusting, with black mold in the bathroom, dirty linen, and black hairs, just like other reviews mentioned. The receptionist was very unpleasant. It was cheap, sure, but there’s a reason. A hostel would have been better. The only good thing was the location. They claim an 8.2 on booking.com, but for some reason don’t send you an option to review there. Hmm, I wonder why. There are much better places elsewhere. I’m just glad it was only two nights, I’d have left if it had been longer.

The view was great, and the desk staff were good. The room, though, was nothing like the advert. There was a strange smell coming from questionable bathroom pipes and an AC unit that badly needed cleaning. I defrosted the fridge and tried to clean the baked-on grime in the microwave, but hygiene concerns eventually made me give up. The place is shabby and run-down. At this price I wasn’t expecting much, but please, clean the room! And that hair isn’t mine.

The room and service were quite good, but the TV didn’t work on two of the three days we stayed. I’d still recommend the hotel.
