From the minute I arrived, I felt truly welcome. The owner is incredibly kind and warm, and goes well beyond what's expected to make sure guests feel comfortable and cared for. The whole experience was better than excellent. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

The host was the sweetest, and we loved our stay at this little homestay. It's quiet at night and well located, about a 15-20 minute walk from the old town. The beds were comfortable, the sink and shower water actually got hot, and there were no odd smells. The host also arranged a pickup from Da Nang for less than Grab would have cost. We'd highly recommend it.

Cam was a great host and communication was superb throughout our six nights. The place stays quiet at night, which mattered to us, while still being close to Old Town, the local market, and the rice paddies. Comfy bed, hot shower, cold aircon. What more could you ask for?

We spent three weeks in a lovely room with a balcony overlooking neighborhood shops and restaurants. Cam and her family took care of everything, from scooter rentals and tour packages to tips on finding a good tailor or custom cobbler. Cam's mother Van serves breakfast and makes wonderful banana pancakes. There are free bikes, and the prices for everything were very good. The location in Hoi An is excellent, just outside the busy old town and near the beaches, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, banks, and supermarkets close by. Tan An outdoor markets are nearby too. We'll come back when we revisit Hoi An. Highly recommended!

If you're just after a cheap room for one night, this could work. For a longer stay or workation, I'd look elsewhere. There's no desk or proper chair in the room. The two small chairs shown in the photo might look usable, but one in my room was broken. The balcony table and chairs were so dirty I didn't want to put my things on the table, and on the ground floor you'd have even less privacy unless you kept the curtain closed all day. The laundry service returned my clothes still damp. After drying them myself, I found dirt on one item that came off easily when I rubbed it with my finger. I don't know what sort of laundry service that is, so I took my clothes elsewhere. There's no smart TV either. Still, it could suit someone trying to save money who doesn't need a desk or want to watch YouTube on the TV.
