We arrived around 9-10 PM and found the receptionist asleep at the desk. It was late, but that didn't seem acceptable for a hotel presented as four-star. Dust was everywhere, even in the elevator. Our room door was already open when we reached it, and there was a strange smell inside. The room seemed otherwise okay, though we didn't look closely since we were there for just one night. Other reviews also suggest the cleanliness falls short of four-star standards. The rooftop pool was decent. The so-called gym was basically one machine, as if it were there just to let the hotel list a gym on booking sites. The location is good, but there are plenty of other hotels nearby at the same price or less that seem much better. I can't recommend this place.

I stayed nine days. The bed was super soft, the location was great, and the beach was just a minute away. My room had lots of useful things: a washing machine, air fryer, two stovetops, rice cooker, pans, plates, pots, and forks. Everything worked, though the items all seemed old and well used. There wasn't much of a view, just another building about 50 cm from the window. The hygiene needs work: the air fryer was rusty, the sink smelled awful, and the cupboard below smelled too. There were lots of tiny ants on the kitchen counter, and I saw two small cockroaches in my room during the stay. Still disgusting. The wifi was sometimes unstable, and the gym was only one old machine. It was a nice budget stay at around 16-17€ a night. But the lack of a proper window and sunlight, along with no view, made me feel a bit depressed. I kept the curtains closed.

We were meant to stay from October 17-23, but asked to arrive on the 18th instead. They assured us they'd hold the room, so we arrived on the 18th at 1:00 PM. We sat for half an hour before they told us the room's AC was broken and needed an hour to fix. That was a lie, because they'd given the room to someone else. They moved us temporarily from the lobby into a room a guest had just checked out of, without cleaning it. An hour later our room was ready, and it was disgusting: dirty sheets and bed, dirty plates, a used face mask on the table, dirty toilet paper and towels. The receptionist called a cleaner, who cleaned in front of us but only changed the sheets. Everything else stayed dirty, and she didn't even take away the mask. We refused to stay. First they offered 50% of our money back, then ten minutes later changed that to 35%. We left angry and had to book another hotel.

The rooftop pool was a real highlight, clean and relaxing, and a great spot for sunset photos. Our modern, comfortable room was clean and had a lovely city view. The staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help. On An Thuong 1 Street, the hotel is just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by good restaurants and cafes. I had an amazing stay at this five-star hotel in Da Nang and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a luxurious, convenient visit.

I booked three months ahead, then got told three weeks before the stay that they had no room for me. I'd planned everything around that booking, and now I have to find somewhere else when many places are already taken.
