The host was friendly and quick to help, which made the stay even better. The house feels modern and has everything you need, with a roomy kitchen and shared areas that work well for families or groups. Outside, the clear, clean pool and all the trees make it feel cool and peaceful. It’s quiet, very photogenic, and I’d happily come back.

I booked and received confirmation through Agoda, but when I arrived at 16:30, the woman there said she had no room for me. I couldn’t understand what she first said. She asked me to wait 30 minutes so she could take me to another villa. I explained I had a work call in half an hour and asked her to sort it out sooner. We eventually rode her motorbike to a place far away, which was nothing like the villa I’d booked. It was a hostel, and instead of the double room I paid for, I got a triple room with three single beds, even though I was travelling alone. The room smelled strongly of mold, wasn’t clean, and had old, smelly sheets that I couldn’t be sure had been changed. The pool was so gross I didn’t want to touch it. Upstairs, young men played music and made noise late into the night, so I had to ask them twice to be quiet. When I came back from dinner, the gate was shut and locked. Nobody had given me a key or the code. I was left outside in the dark and rain, and was lucky someone inside let me in. They might already have been asleep, and then I could have been stuck out there. This was the most stressful booking experience I’ve had. Saying “sorrryyy” and moving me to a completely different place that didn’t cost the same as what I paid, then taking no responsibility, is ridiculous. I’m going to ask Agoda for a refund, though I’m not sure they or the owners care. Avoid this place at any cost. Don’t trust Agoda or this house, you could get ripped off.

I’ve stayed in a villa here three times, and each visit has left me satisfied. The prices are reasonable, and the staff are enthusiastic and give detailed advice. If I get to visit Hoi An again, I’ll choose this service.

Dinh does all the cooking herself, and the food is absolutely beautiful. Her husband Dong and the rest of the family are just as warm and friendly, and they’re happy to help with whatever you need. The stay feels personal and welcoming. The rooms are roomy enough for a few people, with your own fridge and air con if you want some time to yourself. The pool is private, so you get it to yourselves. Staying here was the best choice. Highly recommend!
