That lounge is about as sexy a setting as you could find, with leather furniture and nonstop lounge jazz that made it perfect for a first date. There’s also a Michelin Star restaurant two blocks away, definitely worth a mention. We stayed five nights and had no complaints. The staff were incredibly gracious and accommodating.

The hotel itself was clean and charming, but a few things made the stay frustrating. Our room had no view and felt muggy. The shower’s hot water lasted only about three minutes, and the slow drain let water spill onto the bathroom floor. We also had the wrong TV remote, and our laundry wasn’t brought back when expected, so we had to follow up several times. Breakfast was enjoyable, especially the orange juice, though you have to order it the night before. There were only three choices, and even one of those wasn’t available when we picked it.

The beach was only a short, inexpensive taxi ride away, and walking along the promenade was lovely. The view was stunning, the air felt fresh, and the location made it easy to get around. Inside, our room was spacious, clean, and neat, with fresh linens and air conditioning that worked quickly. Staff regularly checked that everything was alright. They welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived, offered drinks at check-in, and the lobby was beautiful. Breakfast, ordered the evening before, was tasty and reasonably priced. A really wonderful stay, 10 out of 10.

The staff were nice, but the hotel isn’t luxurious despite the name. Some rooms have no windows and poor ventilation, and the soap dispensers don’t work properly. Breakfast is very limited and ends at 9:30. There are better places in Da Nang for nearly half the price.
