The laundry came back smelling nice, and breakfast was made to order, so there wasn’t as much variety, though it was still nice. The staff were friendly and the location was great, a short walk from ancient town. The rooms were big and mostly clean. We did find a mark on the sheets when we checked in, plus an empty water bottle and wrapper in the bin from the previous guest. There were a few ants in the room, but it is a tropical country.

The staff were so kind and polite, and the place was clean and smelled lovely. I liked the no-shoes rule, it made things feel cleaner. It’s a good location, just a Grab ride away. Sadly, our room never got cleaned, even though we put out the please clean sign.

The women running the hotel were really friendly and accommodating. Our room was very spacious, and the villa is only about a 5-10 minute walk from the city center and its lovely shops.

Breakfast by the pool was a lovely start to the day: fresh tropical fruit, banana pancakes with chocolate, and fresh juice, all nicely presented. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the whole place felt fresh. Our room was spotless, with tasteful warm wood details, and the bathroom was clean and bright. Shoes aren’t worn inside, which helps keep the villa clean. There’s only a staircase for guests, though a small luggage lift takes bags. Grace River Villa is on peaceful Cam Nam Island, just a few minutes from the bustle of Hoi An Ancient Town. We used it as a quiet base to explore the town and other areas. It’s a calm, well-run boutique stay, and I’d stay again.

Abi, the receptionist, was always happy to help with any request, and the two women in the kitchen were incredibly kind and pleasant. Breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were very clean. Everything was wonderful and better than we expected. I hope I can come back soon. Greetings from Greece, room 310!
